About Halcyon
Halcyon is optimized for 6 to 8 passengers and 2 crew, although she can sleep up to 12. At 50 feet long and 22 feet wide, she has ample space for cruising the Bahamas comfortably.
Twin 85 h.p. Perkins drive her when wind is slight, and a 12 kw Northern Lights generator powers air conditioning when away from shore power. Halcyon is outfitted with top notch safety equipment, including a SOLAS life raft, EPIRB, and first aid kit.
Fishing and snorkeling gear are aboard, and a 16' chase boat brings up the rear.
Captain Dave
Captain David William Pratt earned his license almost solely from years spent plying the waters of the Bahamas. He encourages passengers to participate in all aspects of sailing and navigating Halcyon. An avid freediver, he may introduce you to breath holding techniques and spearfishing, if you’re game.
